"Welcome In This Place" CLICK HERE FOR LYRICS
God inhabits the praise of His people. At home praise The Lord, at work praise The Lord, at school praise The Lord, on the street Praise The Lord, on the bus praise The Lord, in the subway praise The Lord, in the car praise The Lord. In the good times praise The Lord, in the bad times praise The Lord. When you're happy praise The Lord, when you're sad praise The Lord. When you win praise The Lord, when you lose praise The Lord. When you're energized praise The Lord, when you're exhausted praise The Lord. From the pulpit praise The Lord, from the pew praise The Lord. In the morning praise The Lord, in the noontime praise The Lord, in the evening praise The Lord, and at night praise The Lord. Since God inhabits the praises of His people, let us never neglect to praise The Lord. Instead let us welcome His presence into every part of our day, and every area of our lives continually.
“But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.”

"Set A Fire" CLICK HERE FOR LYRICS
Today my wife asked me seconds after completing the 300 body weight work out if I would like a bacon cheese burger for lunch. Between gasping for air and chugging a glass of water I adamantly said "No, no way!" She made her point by saying "When we consistently eat healthy, exercise, and generally lead healthy lifestyles we become uninterested in things that are unhealthy, and outright harmful to us, things that hinder our progress. It's the same when experiencing a relationship with God through prayer, worship, and studying the bible. The more we experience God the more of God we desire in our lives. Spending quality time in the spiritual gym will cause us to be repulsed by anything and everything ungodly." Do you want more of God? Do you really want God to set a fire in your soul that you can't contain or control? If the answer is no I can assume it's because you are not experiencing much of God at all now, or else you would certainly crave more. Think like an athlete, and work out your salvation with fear and trembling. In other words, Go hard! Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled.
1 Timothy 4:8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
"Trading My Sorrow" CLICK HERE FOR LYRICS
Is the life we live worth Christ dying for? Jesus (who knew no sin) suffered the punishment (wrath of God) for our sin both physically, and spiritually so that you and I wouldn't have to. He took our place, and in doing so He took our sin, sickness, pain, guilt, and shame upon himself when he was nailed to a cross, and crucified publicly. The innocent blood of Jesus was shed so that you and I would be forgiven, reconciled, healed, and have everlasting life, being saved by grace through faith in Christ. We can literally trade our sorrows because of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Are we holding on to things that Christ died to set us free from? Think about it. Rejoice for what The Lord has done, and give thanks knowing that we have the victory in Jesus; because of this we can sing even amidst the storm Yes Lord Yes Lord Yes Yes Lord Amen!
ISAIAH 53:4-5 OUR GRIEFS HE HIMSELF BORE, AND OUR SORROWS HE CARRIED; YET WE OURSELVES ESTEEMED HIM STRICKEN, SMITTEN OF GOD,AND AFFLICTED. BUT HE WAS PIERCED THROUGH FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, HE WAS CRUSHED FOR OUR INIQUITIES; THE CHASTENING FOR OUR WELL-BEING FELL UPON HIM, AND BY HIS SCOURGING WE ARE HEALED.…
"Friend of God" CLICK HERE FOR LYRICS
This world is fractured, and because of it true friendship can be hard to find. Who can we trust? Who can we confide in? Where can we go when we are hurt, exhausted, confused, or ashamed? To whom can we pour out our hearts to without fear or reservation? Sure some of us are are blessed with human relationships that allow for this kind of intimacy, and for this we are grateful. But even still the greatest relationship of all is between God and man through Jesus Christ. The bible says that even if our own parents forsake us, God will not. Talking with God as a friend is liberating. Everyday we can and ought to talk to God. The awesome thing is that God is always with us! So we can literally talk with God at anytime! We can smile and laugh with God as we do with our closest friend. We can pour out our hearts to God, clear the clutter from our minds, lay our burdens down, listen, and hear from our father, our creator, our God, savior, and friend who knows us and everything that pertains to us better than we will ever know for ourselves. Another interesting fact is that God even cares more about us than we care for ourselves. Now that's a true friend.
